Résumé :
Axanthism is a relatively rare mutation that nevertheless remains well known among amphibians. If these cases are well known in certain species, in others such as the Common parsley frog Pelodytes punctatus, this has not yet been recorded. Thus, it was reported by an observer located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, the case of an individual of Common parsley frog affected by axanthism, making it appear partially blue. The causes of this chromatic aberration are not yet well known, they could be multiple. However, the human impact remains a significant possibility, and these cases could serve as an indicator of environmental quality.
